A public server is available for users to view on SHOUTcast's directory available at http://www.shoutcast.com.
A private server will not be shown on any such directory, but will be available on your SHOUTcast DNAS page (ie http://server.empriestreaming.com:XXXX).
The configuration of either a public or private server can be done via your encoder. In addition, you can overide this option in the control panel under Configurations. Click on Settings, then navigate to the Server Overides tab. Under this, use the drop down menu from Automatic to whichever option you choose.
NOTE: We recomend leaving this at automatic, and simply specify this at the encoder level.
